I didn't see the actual article where Murtha says he wants the Draft reinstated. Does he offer a reason? I believe that Rangel was saying the same thing using the hypothesis that if everyone's kids may end up in the military, then the "Right" won't be so quick to start a war (spit).
If anyone has a link or the transcript of Murtha's comments, I'd love to see it.

Whoops Jane! (so sorry, my bad)
I saw the YouTubeVideo but before i played it the still image didn't look like Murtha - I thought it was another video! The image looked like Murtha had lost a lot of weight - maybe it's from him running from CNN interview to NYT interview to CBS interview (with a few stops in between to get Pelosi a cold drink).
Note to self: Don't post comment to PMS blogger without THOROUGHLY looking for a link/video! : )
