There may be some conservatives, republicans, etc., who are homophobic (although it really does depend on whether you define it to include those who disagree with the practice). But in general there ain't no such thing. Just because you think a behavior is not right or unhealthy (like smoking?) doesn't follow that you are mean and nasty to people who do it (smokers? over-eaters? etc., etc.).
