After a few minutes of waiting in the blue curtained "Green Room" with my personal hero, Jay Sekulow, The Greatest American finally arrived. Sean Hunkity has children and they have Saturday games to play, yet he is here at CPAC on a Saturday speaking to the troops.
Ladies, he is hunky in person (and yes, Birdie, I took a picture.) When I wrapped my arms around him for a photo, he does not lie about working out.
The Speech was a brilliant mix of self-deprecating jokes and sharp witted common sense. His turnabout with Paul Begala over Kerry's statements on the war, Dick Cheney's shooting skills, and life on other planets as illustrated by the exsistance of James Carville.
A pep rally we could use for say, three hours a day, every day of the week. Funny how that works.
I saw him in Cincinnati (I live in northern Kentucky) and I don't know if you're a regular listener, but that was the show with the protesters a couple of years ago. He had one of the activists on the air who promised a huge turnout. There were a total of 3 people who, to top it all off, were yelling at us to go home..... as we were leaving the parking lot after the show. They weren't very bright.
[JANE SAYS: "They" never are. You are new here. Welcome to The Realm!]

So when are we going to see some more of these pics from this event? I'm specifically looking for legs Jane, legs! You should post em on flickr or something.
[JANE SAYS: I sat between Michelle Malkin and Captain Ed for two of the three days of the conference and I managed to keep my face out of the news. By design. Sorry. I even turned down an on camera interview with ABC news. There were some sick folks stalking Michelle and I have no desire to get on that train. No, Janie likes her privacy. But legs...just the legs...we might could do that...stand by.]

You got to hug him?! I'm so jealous! I ended up having to skip the last day of CPAC to do homework. I guess I'll have to wait to see Sean another day. Sigh.
[JANE SAYS: I was great to meet you in the lobby---and thanks for the use of your machine! And Sean really is all that. See you next year!]
