But make no mistake, bad times are coming. Just, and if only for now, without the help of Uncle Sugar cutting the very heart out of Capitalism and our Constitution. Yet.
And while I am thinking of it.....John McCain... why won't you say, "Constitution First" instead of "Country First" ? Because "country " implies people and reeks of populism. You should have lead from the front yesterday, and voted against this side show. Another missed chance to cinch a Republican landslide...
While some are moaning about it, I am beyond thrilled that the clowns in the Big Top are taking off for the high holy day of Rosh Hashanah. One less day for the grand failure of Barney Frank and Company's social engineering project to be hurriedly papered over. Doesn't Kwanza start tomorrow...Talk Like A Pirate Day....something to keep those retarded fools out of the well of the House. The longer they do nothing, the longer we have to let Capitalism belch the foul money from Wall Street and preserve our Constitutional integrity.
Americans may just have to do with fewer Carnival Cruises, no plasma upgrades and less overall immediate gratification. Tough beans.
And President Bush...how dare you scold Main Street for not having an appetite for a shit sandwich when you and your Beltway Boys spread the bread?
Americans deserve the apples and honey of the American Dream, not the tepid gruel of the American Promise.
Shit sandwich. I like that phrase, and it accurately describes it. Someone I work with made the statement yesterday that he was surprised China didn't buy up those failing companies. I guess China knows a bad investment when they see it. ;-)
[JANE SAYS: Tell your buddy that China already DOES own "those companies" in the form of T Bills against our national debt. And they have stopped buying SO MANY of them, and that is what is causing the international insecurity. One day China could not only stop buying them, but CALL them due. Then we WILL be in HEAP BIG TROUBLE. And the reason that I (along with many other Constitutional Conservatives) was against this BAIL OUT was because when we PRINT 700 BILLION DOLLARS, we technically will owe China even MORE.

Shalom and Happy Roshanah, Jane! As ususal, you are correct; we're going to see the ill effects of this for some time to come... Something that gives me a little comfort is the thought that people like Maxine Waters, Barney Frank, Gregory Meeks, Franklin Raines, Lacy Clay, Artur Davis, (and all the other Fannie-hoes in our government) are going to be looking for jobs in the near future. Too bad we don't have a remote island to exile them to; nevermind, I hear there's plenty of real estate in Afghanistan. Let the Taliban do to them what they've long been doing to our country. Begone, Fannie-hoes!
[JANE SAYS: Always the eloquent Janiac, hired. Always.
Sadly, those teat suckling piglets will remain in office doing all they have ever known how to do; legislate reparations to the agrieved dregs of humanity who refuse to admit but for the grace of Almighty GAWD they would be "gettin' paid" in a mud hut somehwere in the Sudan.
Alas, we can but hope. But I fear the new FUBU tshirt will read: "FROM FIELD TO HOUSE IN UNDER 200".]
