DEMAND THE REPEAL OF SARBANES-OXLEY. DEMAND THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CUT SPENDING TO THE BONE. DEMAND YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS VOTE "NO" ON THIS BAIL OUT UNTIL THEY TAKE TIME TO LET CAPITALISM WORK.
The outcomes will be terrible, no matter what. But this bill is cutting the very heart out of Capitalism. If we fix this with a band aid, we will still bleed to death eventually. The Constitutional crisis we are about to embark upon is of epic proportions.
I am not blogging one more stroke until I get off the phone with my Representative, my Senator, and my Broker. SELL EVERY STOCK YOU OWN, but leave your cash in the bank because if everyone runs, the dollars will be half what they were worth before you stuffed them under your mattress.
Buy TANGIBLES. Can you hold it and will it be worth MORE a year from now? BUY IT. (And NO, crystal figurines do NOT meet the requirement.....sheeesh.)
Oil futures are down but why is the stock market down? They are about to be "rescued", right? Because the Street knows that the longterm effects of this bail out is not only the NEWER NEW DEAL, but a raw one at that.
