But don't kid yourself about the magnanimity of any fool in Congress. This was a horse trade of the highest order. Pelosi got what she wanted...A. for this all to go away with no accusations about her party's culpability as the root cause of this mess AND B. the bonus of tarring Republicans (Bush is at fault!) just a short month before every mouth-breathing populist in America gets to condemn this country to the ash can of history by voting for the Manchurian Messiah.
