I posted this on my myspace but I keep it private so I was hoping you would share this with the world. I just figured this out. What a great education plan Obama has for us. I don't want any credit, I just want everybody to know...
Here it first here! Obama Education credit is a total sham...
Obama says he will give you a $4000 tax credit (this is one time) to pay for your first $4000 of education expenses (which he says should cover the cost of attending a community college and gaining a degree, ha, then why did it cost me $20,000 to do this???). This would replace the Hope tax credit that provides students with $3300 in tax savings during their first two years and eliminate the Lifetime learning tax credit that covers 20% of college expenses per year up to $2000 a year. I received a tax savings of $5700 from these two credits while I was in community college. So in effect he is saying he is going to take $1700 away from someone paying their own way through school in order to make the credits simpler to understand. What a jerk! Read it and weep. (for the poor people who think their education is going to be cheaper if they vote Obama...)

It is important to mention also that you will need to do 100 hours of community service for the honor and that you would see a much greater loss if you attended a University or private school...
